I was in attendance at the action in Clearfield County on January 17, 2026. I am also close with multiple of the organizers. I am frustrated with my local community as well as the broader leftist space in Pennsylvania, so I’m going to offload here because I guess that’s what y’all do around these parts.
Number one, to everyone in Clearfield who flipped their lid over that blog post, you are all idiots. People post dumb things on the internet every day. Blogs like this have always existed, and your panic and reactivity has made you all look extremely silly and unserious. that includes DuboisLive. anyone can submit to these. it’s the fucking Internet you clowns. I’m submitting now, look at me! it wasn’t hard to figure out.
to DuboisLive specifically, I know who your “source” is, and she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. you published a rag full of slander inching on libel accusing people who barely know how to use facebook of posting on a niche anarchist blog and planning to incite violence. you look ridiculous. fuck off.
here’s the truth. I know because I was there.
1) this action was organized by three people. not one. A primary networking contact with connections to the local democrats, a chant lead and speech giver, and a de-escalation/medic type. it received assistance from multiple others, including assistance with the poster and a local who donated a bunch of handwarmers. this was not something put together by one person, nothing meaningful ever is.
2) none of the organizers submitted to this blog. they didn’t even know it existed prior to indivisible mayday (don’t worry, well get to them) flipping out all over from it.
3) we know for a fact that people affiliated with indivisible mayday and people within the Clearfield Dems planned to call the FBI and DHS on our comrades because they don’t know how facebook messenger works. we can see their whole chat log. no, my friends did not hack them. those organizers don’t know how to hack anyway. they barely know how to use a printer or take a screenshot. Indivisible Mayday and CCDC simply don’t realize that people you’ve invited to a chat can see it, even if they haven’t accepted the invitation. I’m sure they’ll stop using that chat log if they see this. I hope this clarifies to them why the organizers have not been bothering to communicate with them. They were willing to call the FBI and DHS, and that doesn’t exactly build trust.
and I have the screenshots. ALL of them.
so that should take care of the here say on Facebook. again. y’all are clowns.
let’s move on, that blog post about the action.
I can also tell that whoever wrote that piece is not affiliated with any of my friends because they got some key details wrong.
1) Indivisible did not set the time window, the organizers of this action did. This window was never meant to be a strict thing, but rather a suggestion to guarantee folks showed up over roughly the same time period. this is basic stuff. that probably could have been clearer on the flyer, nobody is perfect. whatever man.
2) Indivisible did not necessarily “swoop in,” rather the people organizing this moved fast and indivisible mayday did not immediately respond when reached out to. the organizers planned to meet, mayday reached out after a couple days and offered to liase with police and call the precinct. the person they spoke with said that was fine and informed the other organizers at the meeting the next day. By the time they got to talk about this decision together, the call had already happened. ONE of those organizers was upset about this, and explained why. They have friends who don’t want to attend anti-DHS/ICE actions that preemptively cooperate with police. Honestly, that’s reasonable if you’ve been in activist spaces for any amount of time. That organizer also agreed to continue the work, but requested in the future that who is planned to do safety and whether police were called could be a group decision next time. this was agreed upon by all. this was a reasonable request.
3) These organizers did have a safety plan. anyone who says they didn’t has no idea what they’re talking about. I watched them enact it. they did great. we will get to that later.
So, I assume the organizer with friends who would not have been comfortable with the situation told those friends not to come. I assume those people have friends they talked to about it. I assume that kept going. I assume at some point, someone in that chain of people got mad and wrote a blog post. THATS HOW THE RUMOR MILL WORKS and again, Indivisible Mayday looks asinine for flipping out over it so thoroughly.
So, Indivisible Mayday backed out over “threats” from “violent anarchists.” They and their affiliated Democrat “leaders” accused the organizers of working with terrorists. they demanded explanations, and harassed people who weren’t even involved in planning the action. They called the local PD to “warn them” and threatened to call DHS and the FBI on three people, two of whom were dragged in for no reason. They removed one of the organizers from her committee positions over this bullshit. I’m going to say this so many times here. You are all morons.
to the people affiliated with Mayday and your CCDC friends, this next part is for you. the fact that you can’t figure out who organized this action shows you don’t have any idea what you’re doing. it’s actually very funny. You have been identified as a liar, and people have been informed. “Here’s Why:”
As upset as I am that post happened, and as irritated I am how locals responded…. this is your fault. You have been telling people out of one side of your mouth on signal that you are “as acab as it gets” while calling the police ahead of time and working with them locally. Your collaboration with police up here locally is not a secret. You and I know this. You probably think that’s necessary. that’s your business. that’s not the problem I have with you.
the problem I have with you is that you have been lying to people about it. You have claimed in large chats to people at least in Pittsburgh that you do not work with cops. To the point that my friends started receiving messages from people asking why you were being accused of calling the police…. I submit the following: I have screenshots. You have no right to lecture others about safety procedures if you call the police ahead of time and then tell other people you didn’t. cut out the bullshit now. honesty is critical to activism and you should know better. I’m the one you wanted to talk to. i made the graphic, not whoever wrote that post. I will not trust you ever. good job.
you are done lying to people without consequence. Your dishonesty has fuelled distrust and you were prepared to let your friend throw a woman on section 8 and a bus driver over to DHS to save your social clout. You understand why certain people don’t want to attend events working with police. that’s why you lied about it. you know that not all anarchists are “violent” because we found this out through those networks. you are in them.
you shouldn’t lead a row of ducks to a pond, let alone a protest. you are a clown.
and you still don’t even know who the organizers even are. it’s pathetic.
ANYWAY the action itself was fine. it was about average size for this area and it could have been larger if not for a couple people having a whole panic attack over a blog post catching one of them in a lie. the organizers successfully befriended two counter protesters who showed up armed, moving one so much she put her sign in the trash at the end of the action. They also successfully deescalated an altercation with an inflamed maga who decided to shove one of the organizers. No one responded violently, they talked him down and he even apologized. they passed out coffee and handwarmers and the chant leader sang this land is your land dressed like a dinosaur.
Anyway, they handed out slips that said same time, same place, February 21. This was a success in spite of the infighting and paranoia of local shit libs.
take care and solidarity y’all.
-A NONVIOLENT Clearfield Anarchist.
