The Westmoreland Abolitionist Front observed Trans Day of Remembrance by spreading out in the evening to decorate light poles, street signs, and various other pieces of city property with pro-trans stickers in order to send a clear message to the community: trans people are safe and welcome in Greensburg and broader Westmoreland County, and transphobes are not.
WAF will continually work to honor the memory of our lost trans siblings by defending trans folks that are living now, building a world in which they are able to thrive and experience the heights of joy, and vehemently opposing violent action and rhetoric perpetrated against the trans community by any means necessary.
